Has your teen been DYING to learn how to sew? Now is their chance to jump in with both feet in this intensive beginner course. We cover safety, how a sewing machine actually works, learning to navigate, basic stitches and their functions and we'll complete a basic project. After attending this course, students are encouraged to practice on their own consistently to maintain skills.  Upon completion of this course, students are invited to attend any project classes as well as Teen Open Studio at MIY.

Please Note:  This course requires participants to attend all classes in the series.  Each day's lesson builds upon the previous day's, making it impossible to miss a day and continue the course.  In the event of an emergency or unforeseen circumstance, instructors will make every effort to allow you to attend the remainder of your classes within a different course.  Please contact us to make special arrangements.
